Neobank Rand has raised a €3 million seed round led by Stratminds VC. The deal involved Wayra, Farside, JME Ventures, Inveready, DFG and Primal Capital. The transaction has been advised by Across Legal, with a team led by Iván Moll, with the participation of Víctor Martín and Borja Vallejo.
The platform was born as an alternative to traditional banking for these novice savers, harnessing the potential of Web3, cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence to carry out low-risk strategies.
The platform has been created to manage and monetise the savings of Generation Z and Millennials, who use AI to streamline their products. Rand generates interest by providing liquidity on centralised and decentralised exchanges, which is then redistributed among its users, offering economic opportunities to all regardless of their purchasing power.
In addition, Rand has been one of the few entities approved by the Bank of Spain to operate as a cryptoasset service provider.
