We advised the start-up Proppos in its first financing round, the restructuring of its capital and in the protection and exploitation of its innovative technologies in the catering sector, as well as in creating alliances with important players in the sports and leisure sectors.
Proppos, the Catalan startup specialized in artificial intelligence, closed a financing round of 750,000 euros. The capital injection was led by Banco Sabadell and Wayra, from Telefónica. Public entities such as Neotec, from CDTI, and Startup Capital, from Acció also participated in said round.
The objective of Proppos is to create an intelligent point of sale that recognizes the food and thus speed up the queues at peak times, something that can facilitate the work of the consumer and the seller. This Catalan startup has christened its tool Proppos Fastpay, which has already been implemented through pilot tests in places in the sector, such as coffee shops or restaurants. In fact, this solution has proven to be ten times faster than the traditional checkout process.
