IriusRisk has raised a $29M Series B funding round, led by Paladin Capital Group fund, with participation from other investors already present in the shareholding such as SwanLaab Venture Factory, BrightPixel Capital, 360 Capital and Inveready. The company has been advised by Across Legal.
IriusRisk, founded by Stephen de Vries and Cristina Bentué, has offices and presence in diverse markets such as Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company doubled its number of clients in 2021, with particular success in the financial sector, and increased its team in the United States by 200%, one of the firm’s expansion focuses along with Asia Pacific. In addition to international growth, the startup will use the funds to further develop its technology, hire staff and grow its platform community.
Within the cybersecurity sector, IriusRisk specialises in assisting developers and engineers in designing secure software from the beginning of development.
