We advised the start-up Reforestum in the negotiation of long-term contracts with industry to finance and develop their reforestation and carbon sequestration projects.
Reforestum is a startup whose objective is to help mitigate climate change by restoring and protecting its original forests. It is a marketplace designed to promote reforestation and forest conservation, encouraging companies and individuals to easily offset their carbon footprint by acquiring and monitoring forest actions and carbon credits.
The company was born thanks to a crowdfunding campaign in 2017, through which they got 865 ‘reforesters’ from around the world. Thus they were able to plant their first forest, located in the Picos de Europa.
