We advised the sellers on the sale of Moonz Orthodontic to Vitaldent.
Grupo Vitaldent, a company owned by the venture capital fund Advent International, acquired a majority stake in Moonz, which specializes in children’s orthodontics. The sellers were advised by Across Legal.
Moonz was founded in 2011 by doctors Myriam Sada and Javier Girón de Velasco and by financier Jaime Girón de Velasco. After the transaction, all of them continued to lead the project in different positions of responsibility.
With the transaction, Vitaldent incorporated Moonz’s specialization to its platform. As a result, they achieved the capabilities to expand its successful model of clinics, both in Spain and in those countries where they will operate.
