ACROSS LEGAL has acted as legal advisor to Maite.ai, a Spanish AI start-up applied to the legal sector, in its sale to the French group Doctrine, in a transaction that strengthens the consolidation of the European legal tech market.
Founded in 2024, Maite.ai has developed an advanced artificial intelligence copilot that covers the entire legal workflow, leveraging legislation, case law, and users’ private documentation. In less than a year, the company has surpassed 2,000 clients and increased its ARR twentyfold.
The transaction will allow Doctrine — currently present in France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and now Spain — to accelerate its European growth strategy and consolidate its position as a benchmark in legal AI based on technological sovereignty and GDPR compliance.
