We advised the seller on the sale of Clubkviar to the american company RESY.
The leading technology company in the hospitality sector Resy acquired ClubKviar, the reservation platform that works with exclusive restaurants in Spain. The sellers were advised by Across Legal throughout the entire process.
Resy’s objective was to use ClubKviar’s team of professionals and their relationship with key players in the sector to scale quickly. In the long term, ClubKviar restaurants will become customers of ResyOS, the reservation engine of the American company, where they will be able to offer their services to both ClubKviar users and those of Resy app and Airbnb.
The company was founded in 2012 by Stewart Masters, Gonzalo Cebrián and Christopher Fuchs. ClubKviar operates as a private gastronomic club: members can easily reserve a table with a couple of clicks with their app, on the web or through their concierge or referral service, also achieving discounts on the final invoice. To be a ClubKviar member you need an invitation: members invite their friends, who in turn invite their friends, thus creating a loyal and trustworthy community.
